Thanks to [**Divine Shield**](https://www.wowhead.com/forever/spell=642) and [**Lay on Hands**](https://www.wowhead.com/forever/spell=633) it is extremely hard to kill, even if its leveling damage is on the slow side. ## Background and lore In the classic world, paladins are the knights of the Alliance, trained by the **Order of the Silver Hand** and hardened in the fight against the Scourge in the Plaguelands. Typical of Classic: paladins earned their warhorse through a class quest, and the epic charger quest led all the way to Scholomance. Paladins bless their group, cleanse poisons and diseases and can resurrect the fallen. ## Talent trees ### Holy Holy is the most popular specialization: an efficient healer who is welcome in every group. Seal of Command adds heavy extra hits, and Repentance takes an enemy out of the fight for a moment.
