The Druid shifts into Bear, Cat, Travel and Aquatic Form. In caster form it casts nature spells and heals mostly with effects over time. Rebirth brings allies back in combat, and Innervate helps healers with mana.
Background and lore
In the classic world, druids earn their forms: class quests teach Bear Form and Aquatic Form, and the journey keeps leading back to Moonglade, where druids can teleport at any time. In Classic only night elves and tauren could become druids. As a hybrid, the druid can tank, heal and deal damage, often all in one evening.
Talent trees
Balance
Balance improves nature spells from range. With talents you become a Moonkin and cover enemies in an Insect Swarm. A niche in Classic, but with a very distinct fantasy.
Signature abilities: Moonkin Form, Insect Swarm
Feral Combat
Feral Combat strengthens bear and cat and covers both tanking and melee damage. As a cat you shred, as a bear you hold the group together, and Leader of the Pack empowers everyone nearby.
Signature abilities: Shred, Leader of the Pack
Restoration
Restoration is the healing tree. Swiftmend consumes a heal over time for instant help, and Innervate gives a healer fresh mana. A very sought-after group healer in Classic.
Signature abilities: Swiftmend, Innervate
Who is the Druid for in Forever?
A good fit if you … don't want to commit to one role and enjoy switching forms.
Not ideal if you … want a simple class that is quick to learn.
New in Forever
Besides Night Elves and Tauren, the Skyborne can now be Druids on both sides.
Let the Druid fight in the Forever arena or compare all Forever classes.
