Playstyle

The Paladin fights with Seals and Judgements, empowers allies with Blessings and gives the group Auras. Thanks to Divine Shield and Lay on Hands it is extremely hard to kill, even if its leveling damage is on the slow side.
Background and lore
In the classic world, paladins are the knights of the Alliance, trained by the Order of the Silver Hand and hardened in the fight against the Scourge in the Plaguelands. Typical of Classic: paladins earned their warhorse through a class quest, and the epic charger quest led all the way to Scholomance. Paladins bless their group, cleanse poisons and diseases and can resurrect the fallen.
Talent trees
Holy
Holy is the most popular specialization: an efficient healer who is welcome in every group. Holy Shock gives you an instant heal, Divine Favor a guaranteed critical hit and Consecration damage all around you.
Signature abilities: Holy Shock, Divine Favor, Consecration
Protection
Protection is the tank tree. In Classic it was a niche, and WoW Forever reworks the talent trees with new milestone talents. Holy Shield and Blessing of Kings, which the whole group loves, are typical.
Signature abilities: Holy Shield, Blessing of Kings
Retribution
Retribution deals melee damage with a two-handed weapon. Seal of Command adds heavy extra hits, and Repentance takes an enemy out of the fight for a moment. Relaxed for leveling, with lots of armor and self-healing.
Signature abilities: Seal of Command, Repentance
Who is the Paladin for in Forever?
A good fit if you … want to heal, like supporting groups and want a class that rarely dies.
Not ideal if you … want to progress quickly solo or deal lots of damage.
New in Forever
The Undead Paladin is one of the new race and class combinations. That makes the Paladin playable on both sides for the first time, alongside Humans and Dwarves for the Alliance.
Test the Paladin in the Forever arena or compare it with all Forever classes.
