Playstyle

The Hunter fights from range with a bow or gun and has a tamed companion at its side. Aspects adjust its style, for more attack power or faster travel, and Feign Death and traps help when things get tight.
Background and lore
In the classic world, every hunter starts by looking for a first pet: from level 10, a class quest teaches you how to tame. After that you roam the world in search of rare companions, from ghost wolves to big cats. Those who made it all the way could earn the epic bow Rhok'delar in Classic through a long quest chain.

A good fit if you … play a lot solo, want to collect pets or are new to Classic.
Not ideal if you … want to tank or heal.

The Human Hunter is a new combination, and the Skyborne can be Hunters on both sides.
Try the Hunter in the Forever arena or roll a race and class with the random generator.
