How It Feels

Preservation heals with the power of life and time. Green dream magic flows over your allies in waves, bronze time magic doubles heals or turns back the last few seconds. This is not ordinary healing, but a game with time and life.

It feels creative and experimental. Empowered heals, Echoes and time spells give you lots of ways to solve a situation.

How Preservation Works

The Preservation Evoker heals with mana and Essence:

Echo: heals a target and makes your next heal on it work a second time.
Dream Breath: an empowered healing breath that heals you and up to five allies in a cone in front of you.
Spiritbloom: an empowered heal that jumps to more allies at higher ranks.
Reversion: heals over time and makes up for part of recently taken damage.
Time magic: Time Dilation spreads damage on a target over time, Rewind partially undoes damage taken by the whole group.

Key Abilities

Echo: heals and doubles your next heal on the target.
Dream Breath: an empowered healing breath for you and the group.
Spiritbloom: an empowered heal that jumps to more allies.
Reversion: heals a target over time.
Time Dilation: spreads damage on a target over a few seconds.
Rewind: undoes part of the group's recent damage.
Dream Flight: you fly across the battlefield and heal everyone in your path.

Lore: The Green and Bronze Flights

Preservation combines the powers of two dragonflights. The green dragonflight watches over the Emerald Dream, the primordial version of Azeroth, and stands for life and healing. The bronze dragonflight under Nozdormu guards the timeways and makes sure history runs its course.

The Dracthyr carry the essence of both flights, and Preservation Evokers use it to keep their allies alive. The ability to turn back damage is a direct legacy of the bronze dragons.

Is Preservation Evoker a good healer for beginners?

Medium. The empowered heals and Echo feel unusual, and the range is shorter than for other healers. If you like trying new things, though, you will quickly enjoy it.

What does Echo do for Preservation Evokers?

Echo heals a target and makes your next healing spell on that target cast an additional time at part of its normal healing. That lets you deliberately double your strongest heals.

What does Rewind do?

Rewind undoes part of the damage that all nearby allies took in the last five seconds. It is one of the most impressive emergency buttons of any healer.

Is Preservation Evoker good solo?

Rather slow for questing, since a healer's damage is low. Many Evokers level as Devastation and switch to Preservation for dungeons.
